The Fall meeting was held on September 28 at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washington. One of the best-attended meetings in many years, it included a tour of the kilns and sawmill at Sierra-Pacific in Shelton. Thanks to Steve Stoner and Chris Ferguson of SPI for hosting the tour!

Speakers included Mike Milota of Wood Moisture Solutions; he discussed how to get steam energy into a coil, Dick Phillips (Sierra-Pacific, retired) discussing maintenance and troubleshooting of steam traps, and Walt Williams of Smithco discussing kiln fans. Harry Estlow (never quite retired) managed a Q&A session, and Steve Stoner of Sierra-Pacific told us about the Shelton Mill and what we'd see on the tour.

We have two meetings already planned for  for 2025 and would welcome speakers to offer non-commercial technical presentations. If you're interested, please see the "Contact Us" page and let Steve Carroll know what you propose.
